Tokyo Tower Light Show and View: A Family's Rainy Day Trip
Our son has always been fascinated by towers, and during his school summer vacation, we decided it was the perfect time to visit Tokyo Tower. On July 31, despite the rainy weather, we set out for our adventure. We rode a bus from Tokyo Station and arrived at Tokyo Tower around 5:30 PM. Although the weather was gloomy and heavy rain was imminent, we were excited to see the light projections inside the main deck and the tower's evening lights.
Experiencing the Main Deck
The weather that afternoon was quite gloomy, and heavy rain started shortly after we arrived. Thankfully, we made it to the main deck before the rain began. The view was somewhat limited due to the overcast skies, and the tower was quite crowded with tourists.
We had planned to visit only the main deck since the upper deck requires an additional fee. For those who are adventurous, there's an option to climb the stairs from the ground floor to the main deck. While the projection light show was nice, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. However, seeing our son’s joy made the visit worthwhile.
The Mesmerizing Night View
As night fell, the tower's lights came on, and the sight was amazing. The Tokyo Tower illuminated at night is truly beautiful and was the highlight of our visit.
In conclusion, despite the rainy weather and crowded conditions, our visit to Tokyo Tower was a memorable experience. Our son loved every moment, and the tower’s night lights were a beautiful end to our family trip. If you're planning a visit, be sure to check the weather forecast and explore other attractions near Tokyo Tower.
